25 Aug Work on L. Maavah Harbour is well underway
Work on L. Maavah Harbour is well underway, with overall 46% project progress. The installation of quay wall blocks is now complete, and the construction works of the quay wall is ongoing. The first rock boulder shipment needed for the construction of breakwater has now been transferred to the project site.
Additionally, project works consists of dredging and excavation operations of 26,885cbm; revetment construction of 40m; installation of 550sqm of pavement; installation of navigation lights and ramp construction. The estimated value of the project is MVR 27.3 million. The Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to us on 25th September 2019.
