Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) was incorporated as the first public company in the Maldives, in December 1980. During the Initial Public Offering, a total of 250,000 shares were sold at face value of MVR 50.00 per share.
At the Annual General Meeting of 2014, the shareholders resolved to issue one ordinary share as bonus share for each ordinary share held by the shareholders.
At the Annual General Meeting of 2016, the shareholders resolved to split the shares of the Company at a ratio of 1:10 following which the face value of the Company shares changed to MVR 5.00 per ordinary share.
MTCC Rights Issue was held in 2017, during which we sold a total of 3,037,749 shares nationwide.
