Our Transport Service is the country’s first and largest transport network, providing safe, affordable and convenient transportation services on both land and sea to over 16 million commuters annually. Our public transport services, high-speed ferry & bus service are now provided under the Raajje Transport Link brand, a project initiated by the Government of Maldives to introduce a fast, reliable, efficient, affordable, convenient & sustainable public transport network to the nation.
MTCC’s transport services has become part of everyday life for Maldivians. It has a comprehensive range of travel options and a nationwide transport network that covers almost 85% of the Maldivian population.
MTCC has focused on key areas where transport is essential, including our public services in Greater Male’ Area and other regional cities such as Addu City & Fuvamulah City and densely populated larger islands such as L. Gan/Fonadhoo & L. Isdhoo/Kalaidhoo. Furthermore, our comprehensive transport network ferries provide the connectivity for our citizens to travel around each island in every zone from north to south.
MTCC’s Comprehensive Transport Network connects a large part of the dispersed islands in the country and offers a means to a reliable transport system between the islands. This helps the citizens who live and work in the island economies to plan and organize their travel and carriage of goods.
Our Raajje Transport Link will help revolutionize the public transport system in the Maldives. It would provide good speed, convenience, comfort and reliability to the traveling passengers with excellent customer service. RTL is our vision to achieve a connected nation.
MTCC signed a 50-year service agreement with the government of Maldives on 1st July 2021 to provide bus service to Greater Male, Addu City, Fuvamulah City, L. Isdhoo/Kalaidhoo and L. Gan/Fonadhoo.
The agreement also transferred the resources used by Maldives Ports Limited for greater male bus service to MTCC. Currently, we are the only dedicated company providing public transport services to Maldivian citizens.
Ferry Link: In the greater Male area we provide back-to-back ferry service between Male and Hulhumale, Male’ and Villingili. We also provide back-to-back ferry service from Male’ to Thilafushi and Male’ to Gulhifalhu.
Cargo Service: Affordable cargo delivery service to and from Male’, Villingili, Gulhifalhu & Thilafushi.
Other Service: We provide speedboat and dhoni charter service to anywhere in the Maldives. Additionally, we offer embarking and disembarking services for speedboats at Izzudheen Jetty & No 2 Jetty Area.

Phase One: connecting the islands of Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu and Shaviyani atolls within Zone One.
Phase Two: connecting the islands of Noonu, Raa, Baa and Lhaviyani atolls within Zone Two, the islands of Gaafu Alif and Gaafu Dhaalu atolls within Zone Five and the cities of Fuvahmulah and Addu within Zone Six.
Phase Three: connecting the islands of Kaafu, Alif Alif, Alif Dhaalu and Vaavu atolls within Zone Three and the islands of Meemu, Faafu, Dhaalu, Thaa and Laamu atolls within Zone Four.
