Work on design and build of Sh. Foakaidhoo Harbor is well underway, with overall 56% project progress. First shipment of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction have been delivered to the project site on 25 Jan 2022. We have completed channel dredging operations. Construction of revetment is currently ongoing.
The scope of the project includes, dredging operations of 45,795cbm, construction of a 464m quay wall, a 100m revetment, a 507m breakwater, installation of 2320sqm harbor pavement, installation of streetlights and navigation lights. The value of the project is MVR 52.7 million.
