With the arrival of Mahaa Jarraafu, land reclamation works at R. Dhuvaafaru will commence soon.

The R. Dhuvaafaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection project consists of dredging and reclamation operations of 22.2 hectares; 423m rock boulder revetment construction and 70m breakwater construction.
