10 Jul Meemu Airport Development Project is well underway
Meemu Airport Development Project is well underway, with overall 60% project progress. We have completed airport shore protection revetment works. In addition, subgrade works for fire road and fire pad have been completed.
Project works involve, reclamation operations of 14 hectares; coastal protection operations of 1,812m; construction of a 1200m x 30m runway; taxiway and an apron. The value of the project is MVR 230.10 million.
