Aa. Rasdhoo Harbor Breakwater and Coastal Protection Project is well underway. The installation of concrete blocks required for quay wall construction is ongoing. Final shipment of concrete blocks have been transferred to the project site on 16th Oct 2023. Scope of works for the project include reclamation operations of 106,552cbm, construction of a 106m breakwater, a 1,656m revetment, a 177m quay wall, 224m groynes, construction of a 11m x 11m ramp, installation of a 43m x 2m concrete bridge, a 20m x 2m concrete bridge, 795sqm harbor pavement, navigational & harbor lights. The value of the project is MVR 80.4 million.
