Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) was contracted to develop the sub-base of Th. Vilufushi football pitch 21st August 2019 by Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment.
The agreement of the project was signed by Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof and the former CEO of MTCC, Hassan Shah. Â
Scope of the project included mass cleanup of the area where the football ground was to be developed. We excavated mud material and disperse the football ground, excavated sufficient filling material, transport sufficient filling material to the football ground. We also conducted compaction work, level the ground to the required level and cast drainage gutter, and gutter top, cast and installed soak pit, cast and laid kerb stone and pipe and cast pavement strip.    Â
