R. Fainu harbour project was awarded to MTCC on 21st July back in 2014. The work for this project, awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, was completed on 22nd September 2016. This project included the construction of 93.15m x 61m harbour basin protected by a 203.89m breakwater on outer edge and 196m quay wall and 8.84m rock boulder revetment and 48.72m sand cement bag revetment and 476sqm paved area and installation of 10 harbour street lights.
