Lh. Kurendhoo Harbour Project was awarded to MTCC on 18th March 2013. The work for this project, awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, was completed on 29th December 2017.
The scope of this project included:
Dredging/excavation of new harbour basin, maximum specified depth of -3m MSL; Total dredge volume is 50,480.00 CBM
Dredging/excavation of new entrance channel, maximum specified depth of -3m MSL; Total dredge volume is 2,916.00 CBM
Construction of rock boulder breakwater of total length 353m
Construction of rock boulder breakwater of total length 70m
Supply and installation of 2 Nos of navigational lights
Quwaywall by 396+352m
Construction of Ramp 1 Nos
Construction of interlocking pavement to the length of the harbour with a width of 5m; total 3,740 SQM
