About This Project

MTCC was awarded the design and construction of L. Maavah harbour on 25th September 2019. The work for this project was contracted to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

Scope of the project includes

  • Dredging and excavation operations of 26,885cbm
  • Construction of a 568m breakwater
  • Construction of a 40m revetment
  • Construction of a 55m quay wall

We successfully completed the L. Maavah Harbor Upgrade Project on 29 December 2020.

The project valued at 27.3 million was commenced on 09th October 2019.
