About This Project

Design and Build of AA. Maalhos Harbour was handed over to MTCC by Ministry of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 10 November 2020. The relating agreement of the project was signed by CEO of MTCC Adam Azim and Director of the Ministry Shaana Faroog. 

The scope of the project includes

• Dredging & Excavation of 24,335cbm
• Construction of 394m of quay wall
• Construction of 407m of breakwater
• Construction of 56m of groyne
• Construction of 100m of revetment
• Development of 1,970sqm of harbour pavement

Cost of the project is valued at MVR56,970,122.62.
