Dredging works for Ha. Ihavandhoo Harbor Upgrade Project are progressing, with 98% completion. First shipment of pre-cast concrete blocks required for the construction of quay wall have been delivered to the project site on 20th May 2021.
Scope of works for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 30,509cbm; the construction of a 95m quay wall; a 284m breakwater; and a 178m revetment. Additionally, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights and construction of 4,582sqm of paved area will also be undertaken. The value of the project is MVR 48.5 million.
