24 Aug Work on N. Landhoo Harbour Upgrade project has commenced
Work on N. Landhoo Harbour Upgrade project has commenced on 24th August 2020. Equipment and machinery needed for the project have been delivered to the project site on 12th August 2020.
The N. Landhoo harbour development scheme consists of dredging and excavation operations of 25,000cbm; breakwater construction of 401m; quay wall construction of 256m; revetment construction of 60m; installation of 1,280sqm of pavement; installation of navigation lights, streetlights, mooring buoys and ramp construction. The estimated value of the project is MVR 35.60 million.
