Work on Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi Harbour Expansion Project is nearing completion, with overall 98% project progress. Maintenance Dredging works for the project is currently ongoing, with 30% completion. The project is scheduled to be completed on 30 October 2020.

Scope of works for the project include harbor basin dredging operations of 236,844cbm; reclamation operations of 24,450cbm, construction of 500m in-situ concrete quay wall, a 500m in-situ concrete topping slab, backfilling of quay wall area, kerb stone casting & installation, drainage gutter casting and installation. The estimated value of the project is MVR 129,529 million. The project was mobilized on 26th December 2018.
