We have mobilized our project team to V. Rakeedhoo harbor project site on 19th June 2020. The project which received EIA approval on 26th December 2019 involves the design and build of V. Rakeedhoo harbour.
Among others, project works involve dredging and excavation of 5,645cbm; the construction of a 156m long breakwater; a 164m quay wall, and a 74m revetment. The project also includes the construction of 429sqm of paved area as well as the installation of harbor and navigational lights.
Overall, the project which was awarded on 1st October 2019, is estimated to cost MVR 18.5 million. The project is contracted to be completed on 5th October 2020.
