We are conducting an As-Built survey at S. Maradhoo’s eastern side of the breakwater starting point near the channel. The survey will obtain dimensional and vertical data so constructed improvements can be undertaken.
The survey is a part of reconstruction of S. Maradhoo harbor breakwater which is well underway. The scheme uses quay wall blocks which are precast at Thilafushi and delivered to the project site.
In addition to the removal of the existing rock boulder breakwater the MVR 28.2 million scheme involves harbour dredging of 18,873cbm, construction of a 373m revetment, construction of a 419m quay wall and construction of a bridge.
