The installation of pre-casted quay wall blocks for N. Henbadhoo harbour upgrade is well underway, with 60% overall project progress.
Pre-casted blocks from our Thilafushi site were transferred to N. Henbadhoo to construct a 203m quay wall. Overall, the N. Henbadhoo harbour upgrade consists of dredging and excavation operations of 44,615cbm along with construction of a 259m breakwater, a 173m revetment; 25m new groynes, and a 203m quay wall.
The scheme also includes a 1,015sqm paved area and light installation. Overall scope of works for the MVR 26.6 million project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2020.
