11 Aug The Harbour Upgrade Work of Sh. Komandoo is well underway

The Harbour Upgrade Work of Sh. Komandoo is well underway, with overall 73% project progress. The installation of quay wall blocks is now complete, and concreting work is ongoing on the insitu wall & capping beam of quay wall structures.

Additionally, project works include maintenance of new harbour hasin dredging of 35, 348cbm; channel dredging of 14,371cbm; breakwater construction of 12m; revetment construction of 20m; quay wall construction of 190m; installation of 1,991 sqm pavement & installation of navigation lights and street lights. The estimated value of the project is MVR 29.41 million. The project was mobilized on 8th December 2019.
