The first out of 5 shipments of PVC pipes required to develop Gn. Fuvahmulah City internal roads have arrived to Male’ port, and shipment clearance is ongoing. The project will see the development of 31 roads with an overall length of 15,932m.
Scope of works for the project include sub base preparation of 122,659sqm; an asphalt wearing course of 95, 239 sqm; footpath preparation of 27,450sqm; road crossing, marking, signage and streetlights, and storm water drainage works of 19,940m. The MVR 279.4 million project was awarded on 4th July 2019.
