The demobilization of K. Huraa’s Land Reclamation and Shore Protection project was undertaken on 7th June 2020, following project completion on 25th March 2020. The project aims to solve lack of living space and land to begin new business ventures in the island.
Among others, project works include but is not limited to the reclamation of 23 hectares; the construction of a 1,626m revetment; a 152m breakwater and 150m groynes. The project, which was awarded to us on 25th July 2018, was undertaken in two phases. Phase One is valued at MVR 33. 73 million and Phase Two is valued at MVR 71.32 million. Overall, the project is valued at MVR 105.05 million.
