The construction and development of roads in L. Fonadhoo is well underway, with 59% project progress. Existing roads surfaces are now being removed, and subgrade works are ongoing along with road compaction and leveling.
Under this project, 27, 848 sqm area of asphalt will be laid along 12 roads which have a total length of 3.5 km. The project also includes the development of stormwater management system to minimize flood damage along with construction of speed breakers and road markings.
The road development project was contracted to us by Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure and was mobilized on 26th June 2019. The project is valued at MVR. 25.5 million.
