09 Apr Signing with Ministry of Construction, Housing & Infrastructure to Develop Boduthakurufaanu Magu
MTCC has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Construction, Housing & Infrastructure to undertake the Design and Build of the K. Malé Road Development Project – North of Boduthakurufaanu Magu, covering the area from Henveiru Ferry Terminal to Local Market.
This transformative project will enhance accessibility in Malé City through the development of modern, pedestrian-friendly roads. Widened roads will ease traffic congestion, while a new stormwater drainage system will help mitigate flooding during heavy rainfall—ensuring safer, more resilient infrastructure for all road users.
Our MD, (Retd.) DCP Ahmed Saudee, signed on behalf of MTCC, while the Minister of Construction, Housing & Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla Muthalib, signed on behalf of the Ministry.
