Road leveling work is currently ongoing for construction of major roads at H. Dh. Hanimaadhoo; with 52% of road leveling works and 80% of curbstone precasting work complete. Settlement tanks and cable junction pipe laying works needed for the project are already complete.
The project will see the development of major roads in H. Dh. Hanimaadhoo with a carriageway (driving area of road) of 38,916sqm along with sidewalks of 16,518sqm and a stormwater management system. Project works also involve service lines with cable junctions; road lighting; road markings of 19,679sqm and road signboards.
Overall, the MVR 46.7 million road construction project is expected to be completed within 240 days. The project which was awarded to us on 22nd May 2019 was subsequently mobilized on 15th June 2019.
