About This Project
Velana International Airport South West Rectification Work was awarded to MTCC on 26th December 2017 by the Maldives Airports Company Limited. The Project comprises of constructing quay wall with revetment & reclamation of existing road side, adjacent shores protected with revetment, commissioning and handover.
Scope pf the project included
- Removal of Land side revetment head 470-meter
- Â Back fill and compaction of 470-meter
- Laying of lean concrete pre-casting units on 470-meter
- Casting of Pre-cast units 313nos
- Placing of Removed rock boulders at a 470-meter area
- Supply & placing of additional rocks on a 470-meter area
- Placing of Filter Rocks at a 470-meter area
- Extension of Geo fabric with 600gsm on a 470-meter area
