Phase two of Th. Thimarafushi Airport was awarded to MTCC on 12th January back in 2014. The work for this project, awarded by the Maldives Airports Company Limited, is currently on hold. This project involved full construction of runway, taxi way, apron, road, terminal building, shore protection and utility systems.
