About This Project

The project to develop football pitches in 7 islands were handed over to MTCC by Ministry of Youth Sports and Community Empowerment on on 11th September 2019. Under the project football pitches will be developed in L. Gan, G.Dh. Thinadhoo, Th. Thimarafushi, V. Keyodhoo, H.A. Hoarafushi, S. Feydhoo and Gn. Fuvahmulah .

Work to be conducted in each island as part of the project includes

• Site Clearing
• Excavate mud material and disperse the football ground 
• Excavate sufficient filling material 
• Transport sufficient filling material to the football ground 
• Compaction and level the ground to the required level 
• Casting of Drainage Gutter
• Casting of Drainage Gutter Top
• Laying of Drainage Gutter Top 
• Casting  Soak pit
• Casting  Soak pit  Top
• Installing of Soak pit
• Casting of Kerb Stone
• Laying of Kerb stone and pipe
• Casting of Pavement  strip  

The MVR 2,552,907.82  project will be completed within 60 days.
