N. Holhudhoo harbour project was awarded to MTCC on 9th February back in 2014. The work for this project, awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, was completed on 19th July 2017.
The scope of this project included:
Dredging/excavation of any material for the new harbour basin. Maximum specified depth -3m MSL 12,122.31 cbm
Dredging/excavation of any material for the new entrance channel, with width 18.30m. Maximum specified depth -3m MSL 387.30 cbm
Armour rocks laid to the slopes defined in drawings and to lines and levels indicated in the break water cross section. Rate shall include levelling and placing armour rocks 366.57 m
Armour rocks laid to the slopes with backfilled material and geotextile material as defined in drawings 177.00 m
Supply and placing navigational aids as shown on harbour layout drawing and as directed by the engineer. 2.00 No
Supply and install precast RC quay wall unit as per detail drawing. 359.00 No
Supply and install precast RC anchor blocks and fix anchor rods as per detail drawing.359.00 m
Cast in-situ concrete coping in quay wall to grades, levels, as indicated in the drawing 359.00 m
Supply and fix mooring hooks in 4m intervals as per the detail drawing 72.00 No
Supply and placing geotextile material to the full length of the quay wall blocks covering the entire span of the quay wall length as shown in the cross section drawing m 359.00 No
