G.Dh. Madaveli harbour project was awarded to MTCC on 9th February back in 2014. The work for this project, awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, was completed on 7th August 2018.
The scope of this project included:
Dredging: Maint. dredging of existing channel – 4,999.79 Cbm, maint. dredging of existing channel -100.0 Cbm, maint. dredging of existing basin- 31,023.60 Cbm, dredging of boat beaching area – 2,250.00 Cbm
Breakwater & revetment: construction of breakwater – 269.40, construction of revetment- 163.60 m
Quaywall: QW block installation – 382.00 m
Sundries: Harbor pavement – installation of blocks- 1,220.00 Sqm, beacon installation- 2 nos
