Dh. Bandidhoo Harbour Project was awarded to MTCC on 9th February back in 2014. The work for this project, awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, was completed on 14th August 2017.
The scope of this project included:
Dredging/excavation of new harbour basin, maximum specified depth of -3m MSL; Total dredge volume is 30,451.30 CBM
Dredging/excavation of new entrance channel, maximum specified depth of -3m MSL; Total dredge volume is 502.70 CBM
Construction of rock boulder breakwater of total length 413.31m
Construction of rock boulder revetment of total length 91.61m
Supply and installation of 2 Nos of navigational lights
Extension of quwaywall by 198.12m
Construction of interlocking pavement to the length of the harbour with a width of 5m; total 1,535 SQM
