About This Project
MTCC was awarded to design and construct Th. Guraidhoo harbour on 1st October 2019. The project was contracted to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure.
The project was mobilized on 19th August 2020.
Scope of the project includes
- Dredging operations of 7,952cbm for a new harbor basin
- Dredging operations of 10,134cbm for existing harbor basin
- Donstruction of a 208m breakwater
- Construction of 1875sqm of paved area.
Work on design and build of Th. Guraidhoo Harbor is well underway. Quay wall casting works and top slab casting works for the project is currently ongoing.
The estimated value of the project is MVR 46.01 million.
