About This Project

Design and Build of Sh. Foakaidhoo Harbour Upgrade was awarded to MTCC by Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 29th December 2019

Scope of the project includes

• Dredging and excavation 45,795cbm
• Development of 507m Breakwater
• Development of 100m Revetment 100m
• Development of 464m Quay wall
• Development of 2,320sqm of Pavement
• Installation of navigation lights 
• Installation of two arm streetlights and Mooring buoys
• Construction of 22m x 3m bridge to access the breakwater 

The MVR 55,974,940.88 project is to be completed within 500 days.
