Design and Build of Harbour in N. Henbadhoo Project

About This Project

The design and construct the harbor of N. Henbadhoo was awarded to MTCC on June 23rd, 2019. The agreement of the project was signed by Director General at the Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure, Fathimath Shana Farooq and former CEO of MTCC Hassan Shah.

The project was mobilized on 24 September 2019.

Scope of the project included

  • Dredging and excavation operations of 44,615cbm
  • The construction of a 203m quay wall
  • Development of a 259m breakwater
  • Development of a 173m revetment
  • Development of a 25m Groynes
  • Installation of 1,015sqm of paved area and 203m of Rock apron
We successfully completed the MVR 30.3 million project on 21 November 2020.
