Design and build of harbor upgrade in F.Dharanboodhoo

About This Project

The project to re-develop the harbor of F.Dharanboodhoo was handed over to MTCC by Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 10th December 2019. 

Work conducted under the project includes

  • Dredging and Excavation 46,600Cbm
  • Construction of 410m breakwater
  • Construction of 64m revetment
  • Construction of 196m quay wall
  • Construction of Ramp
  • Installation of Harbor lights
  • Installation of Mooring blocks and 2,500sqm of Paved area

The MVR 38.2M project is estimated to be completed within 397 days.
