Mr. Hassan Shah was appointed to the Board of Directors by the majority shareholder (Government) on 11 December 2018. Mr. Shah has a long career spanning over twenty years in the field of environmental consultancy and has held leadership positions in one of the leading private companies in the field. Alongside his professional career in the field of environment, Mr. Shah has also served in various positions for state and government institutions. Mr. Hassan Shah served as the Minister of State for the Ministry of Environment from 2012 to 2013, Chairman of the Board of Maldives Ports Limited during 2013 and as a member of the Elections Commission in 2009.

Mr. Shah is a registered consultant at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and an Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) reviewer both at the Ministry of Tourism and the EPA. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, (Major Environmental Science), from Yuvaraja’s college, University of Mysore, India.

Mr. Shah does not own any shares of the Company.
