K. Dhoonidhoo Harbour Redevelopment and Reclamation project is underway, with overall 10% project progress. Dredging works for the project is currently ongoing, with 39% completion.

The K. Dhoonidhoo Harbour Redevelopment and Reclamation project consists of; dredging and excavation operations of 4.61acre; reclamation of 3.75 acre; construction of a 370m breakwater; a 620m revetment; a 250m quay wall; 250 m of paved area and installation of harbour lights. The value of the project is MVR 51.4 million. The project was mobilized on 21st September 2020.
