In the past year, the B. Eydhafushi Harbor Development Project has seen remarkable progress. Dredging for the existing harbor is 94% complete, dredging for the harbor channel is 93% complete, and the installation of the quay wall blocks is well underway. This swift advancement is a testament to the clear direction, commitment, and support from the current administration. The project scope includes dredging 28,304 cubic meters of the existing harbor, 3,354 cubic meters for the harbor channel, constructing a 402-meter quay wall, a 170-meter breakwater, a 383-meter revetment, an 11×11 meter concrete ramp, an 18×2 meter concrete bridge, installing 1,814 square meters of harbor pavement, harbor lights, mooring buoys, and an access platform for the high-speed ferry network. The total value of this project is MVR 64.67 million.
