Hdh. Kumundhoo Harbor Channel Project is currently underway with 62% overall project completion. The third shipment of rock boulders has been delivered to the project site, and breakwater bed preparation work has reached 54% completion. Additionally, revetment construction has reached 64% completion.

Scope of works for the project include, new harbor dredging work of 9,346cbm, channel dredging work of 4,954cbm, construction of 242m breakwater and 198m revetment, and installation of navigational aids. The value of the project is MVR 33.6 million.
