G. Dh. Thinadhoo Ice Plant area quay wall is nearing completion, with 74% project progress. Scope of works for the scheme include the backfilling of 9245cbm; construction of a 10m revetment; a 130m sheet pile quay wall; a 620sqm pavement area and streetlights installation.
Concrete works for the project began mid-April, 2020. Sheet pile installation works for the project involve using an excavator mounted with a vibratory hammer for driving sheet piles into the underground structure. The MVR 17.4 million project was awarded on 31st July 2019, and mobilized on 4th March 2020.
