First shipment of concrete blocks required for R. Maakurathu Harbor Development Project has been delivered to the project site on 21st September 2022. Currently, dredging works of new harbor basin is ongoing with 87% project completion.
Scope of works involve, 45,024cbm of harbor dredging operations, construction of a 140m breakwater, a 129m quay wall, a 85m revetment, a 28m groyne, and installation of 641sqm pavement. The value of the project is MVR 26.67 million.
