18 Aug Design and Build of S. Meedhoo Harbour is well underway

Design and Build of S. Meedhoo Harbour is well underway, with overall 71% project progress. Quay wall block installation has been completed and capping beam works on the quay wall are currently ongoing with 52% completion.

Scope of works involve dredging operations of 61,396cbm; rock boulder breakwater construction of 115m; quay wall construction of 621m; installation of 3,105sqm of paved area; installation of harbor lights and ramp construction. The estimated value of the project is MVR 33.4 million. The project was mobilized on 18th September 2019.
