29 Aug Completion of N. Velidhoo coastal protection

HEP Yameen Abdul Gayyoom attends special function held to mark the completion of N. Velidhoo Coastal Protection project.

The event was also attended by Minister of environment and energy Mr. Thoriq Ibrahim, Minister of  housing and infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, members of parliament, MTCC CEO Ibrahim Ziyath and other senior officials from government and the company.

The main components of N. Velidhoo Coastal Protection project included 15852.62cbm of dredging and back filling, construction of a 200m revetment, 7m breakwater and a staircase.
