06 Apr Commencement of physical works of Meemu Airport Development Project
A ceremony was held today at M.Muli to mark the commencement of physical works of Meemu Airport Development project. The project was awarded to MTCC on 28th February 2021.
Project works involve, reclamation operations of 14 hectares; coastal protection operations of 1,812m; construction of a 1200m x 30m runway; taxiway and an apron. The value of the project is MVR 221.733 million and the project is to be completed within 365 days.
