B. Hithaadhoo Harbor Breakwater and Quaywall Construction Project is well underway. We have completed existing harbor basin dredging operations. Full shipment of concrete blocks required for quaywall construction have been delivered to the site.
Scope of works include, 14,929cbm of dredging and excavation operations, 4,101cbm of entrance channel dredging operations, construction of 22m groyne; a 495m breakwater, a 90m revetment, a 350m quay wall repair, construction of a bridge, installation of 1,750sqm of harbor pavement, construction of a ramp and a concrete platform, installation of navigational aids and harbor lights. The value of the project is MVR 19.80 million.
