B. Dharavandhoo Harbor Development Project is well underway. First shipment of concrete blocks required for quay wall construction, have been delivered to the project site. New harbour basin dredging operations are currently ongoing with 51% completion.
Scope of works include, 30,504cbm new harbor basin dredging operations, 1843cbm maintenance dredging operations, 4126cbm ramp area dredging operations, 2301cbm channel dredging operations, 352m breakwater, 83m revetment, 248m quay wall, 24m groyne, a ramp (10m x 9m), a concrete jetty (140m x 2m), installation of 2104sqm harbor pavement, harbor lights and navigational lights. The value of the project is MVR 55.48 million.
